The Story of Eva Geller
For our Note Card Confession Project I decided to do a short video over a lady named Eva Galler. She is one of the few who survived the Holocaust and was able to share her story. Since she was able to escape right after being captured, her story isn't as in depth. But we are still able to see the bravery she had to jump out of the train.
When doing this project, I started out by finding a story that jumped out to me, that I was interested in. I then used Youtube Capture to get all the details of my video. When using this in a classroom I would definitely have assigned spots for each group of students. Such as the music. taping, holding the cards, etc. It would be a great assignment to get your students to dig deep in! In the end, they would present the videos to their classmates and hopefully be able to teach their peers about different things they learned, but weren't able to incorporate into the video.
