Using Exit Tickets
When watching this video over different types of exit tickets a teacher can use, it was mentioned how the normal index card can get old and disorganized if used throughout the different subjects every single day. One way to easily stop that problem is to get an online app where the student can submit the answers to the exit ticket and you can pull it up whenever needed. Out of all the apps mentioned, I got TeacherKit. When opening this app, it was very appealing because of the organization details it offers. From showing ways to create exit tickets, ways to rearrange desk, add grades, and even include behavior trackers for your students, this app is definitely one to check out. |

Virtual Travel
When thinking of my future classroom I tend to think of the different styles of teaching I would like to trying and how I want my students to learn about children from all over the world. Everyones lifestyle is unique and I want the students to see that when learning about different cultures. Therefore I was curious when clicking the link to learn about Virtual Travel. In this video, they mention the different types of apps you can get to bring you to different places around the world. The one i was really interested in was called Istanbul City Guide. In the app it gives you a bunch of different places you can "go to " in the city. Also shows their subway system, different foods, shopping, what to see, the weather, and a bunch more. This will give the students an insight of the life in Istanbul. If you were doing a lesson over a different major city, I feel as if they would have an app also! Take the students all over the world!

Prezi
This last app I checked out may already be a common one for most people to use, but in general, I think it is one of the coolest. As it mentions in the video, it isn't the kind to use during a big presentation for work or maybe an interview, but in the classroom I think the kids would enjoy it. Using the app you are able to drag through the different slides on your iPad when walking around the classroom. It has such a different look to it compared to the average PowerPoint presentation. This would make the everyday learning a little more interesting.
